Mr.Kolodinsky has earned an “AV” rating, the highest possible status for both legal ability and ethical standards, by Martindale-Hubbell, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious legal directory. He is listed in the national Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mr. Kolodinsky has been recognized by his peers and is listed in the nationwide publication, Leading American Attorneys. In addition, he has served as a member of the Executive Committee for the Volusia Civil Trial Lawyers Association and is a charter member as a ‘Master’ of the Dunn-Blount Inn of Court.
Mr. Kolodinsky is an honors graduate of Rutgers University and holds a Juris Doctor awarded in 1977 from the Rutgers University School of Law. He has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Mr. Kolodinsky practices in both State and Federal Courts and is admitted to practice before the courts in Florida, as well as the Federal Courts for the districts in Florida, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Florida Justice Association (FJA) is a professional, statewide association of approximately 4,000 lawyers that works in the legislative and public opinion arenas to protect the constitutional rights of consumers, improve public safety and preserve the civil justice system. The FJA acts as watchdog for such issues as public safety, children and families, insurance, professional negligence and access to the courts. Mr. Kolodinsky served on its Board of Directors. In recognition of his dedication to the ideals of the FJA and his work on its behalf, he has twice been awarded the Eagle Talon award.
He has also received awards for volunteer work with such charitable and civic organizations as the Volusia County Bar Association and NAACP. Mr. Kolodinsky was selected by Florida’s Governor to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission and in that capacity served as Chair on the committee which nominates outstanding lawyers to server as members of the judiciary. He is also an Of Counsel to Seitz and Tresher.
An active member of the community, he has served as Chair of the Atlantic Center for the Arts Board of Trustees, the Volusia County Bar Board of Directors and Chairman of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee.
